Fed up with Pester Power? Not enough change on the day?
To help spread the cost when the Book Fair comes to town we have set up a Book Fair Savings Scheme.
Each Tuesday before school you can come to the Library and add savings to your card. We will keep a record of your savings and when you want to buy something from the Book Fair, you can redeem your savings.
Any balance will be transferred to a new card for you to continue saving.
The Library will be open from 8.30 on Tuesdays - you can still pay into the School Bank at the same time if you wish.
On sale each Friday outside of Penguins' Classroom is a delicious assortment of snacks all priced 30p.
We have raisins, sultanas, grapes, dried apricots, apple juice ,
banana chips and sesame bars available.
If you have any suggestions for how to improve our Friday Fruit Frenzy please let us know.
What a fantastic theatre visit we had today, thanks to M and M productions, who brought a colourful and interactive Wizard of OZ performance to our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children.
There was lots of boos for the wicked Witch as well as lots of singing and shouting for the Lion, tin man, scarecrow and of course Dorothy and Toto.
Thank you to all of you who came in non uniform and made a donation to this wonderful production.
The Library service's "Summer Reading Challenge" will finish on Friday 20th September which means there is still time to complete it. There will be a winner's event held at Southsea Castle on Sunday 22nd September and it would be fantastic to see lots of Westover Primary children there. So grab a book and enjoy!
