Happy Easter Year 5!
We hope you have a great Easter holiday with your family at home and get to spend lots of time in your gardens. We are missing you all and are busy planning lots of exciting learning for when we're back together again.
Next term our topic will be Journeys. Over the holidays, see what you can discover about the Antarctic. Can you find out about any famous explorers or expeditions? What are conditions like in the South Pole? Which animals live there? What are the differences/similarities between the Arctic and Antarctic? Be creative. You might want to make a video, write a report, make a powerpoint, create a piece of art, you could write a poem, make one of the animals, create a mini scene or something else!
Please keep reading daily and practicing your times tables.
There are some optional Easter resources below.
All of the resources below are for Week 1.
Please use the above Learning Grid for Week 2 tasks and resources.

This half-term in Maths we have been looking at fractions. please find below some sheets and links that they could do this week at home.
Times tables practice is important as well- They could write them out as fast as they can, they could go onto TTrockstars, they could ask a partner to test them. Don't forget your division facts!
