At Westover we don't say if an item is a summer or winter uniform; we are happy for the children to choose which items are best for them at any time.

You can buy items from local retailers who stock Westover items with our logo, but please don't feel you have to.  Non-branded items are accepted and we have a super 2nd hand selection which you are welcome to browse or put a request in directly to our PTA at friends@westoverprimary.co.uk.

Standard Uniform:

white or light blue polo T-shirt

royal blue cardigan/sweater (it can be with a logo, but it doesn’t’ have to be)

grey or black pinafore, skirt, trousers, shorts

blue check summer dress/jumpsuit

white or grey or black socks

black school shoes (these can be smart trainers as long as they completely plain black with black laces and no stripes, lights or decoration)

No leggings

PE Kit:

white T-shirt (if you have purchased a coloured House T-shirt, that is fine, but we are moving away from this and just having white)

black shorts/joggers/leggings,

trainers or plimsolls (no flashing lights on them)

Ear-rings must be removed for PE or taped over (please make sure your child has tape in their PE bags)

Other:

Hair must be tied back, no jewellery apart from small studs, no nail polish or make up.

Watches are fine if just a watch, not if they are smartwatches.

Don’t forget our PTA run a 2^nd hand uniform shop – just drop us or them an email if you need anything specific or pop in to see what we have.

We expect children to dress smartly and wear their school uniform with pride in being part of the Westover family. Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your child's name so that we can reduce lost items.
