Westover Primary School

Uniform Information

Coronavirus Update

We are encouraging children to come in regular school tops and sweaters but to wear jogger or shorts with trainers so that we can avoid changing for PE.

If anyone is wearing dresses or skirts, we'd suggest keeping a pair of shorts or joggers in school to pop on for PE lessons.

We encourage children to dress smartly and wear their school uniform with pride in being part of the Westover family. Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your child's name so that we can reduce lost items.

Grey skirt or pinafore dress, grey or black trousers (not leggings)

Blue or white shirt/polo shirt

Blue V-necked  jumper or cardigan

Blue gingham dress

Flat black shoes with secure fastenings or closed sandals (no bare feet)

Long hair must be tied back.

No jewellery except for small, stud ear-rings.

A t-shirt in the colour of their team (to be advised by the school on entry) and dark blue or black shorts or jogging bottoms.

No football kits are allowed.

Ear-rings must be removed for PE or taped over (please make sure your child has tape in their PE bags)

Children will normally do gymnastics in bare feet, but need a pair of clearly named plimsolls or trainers for games.

Children are allowed to wear a track-suit in the winter (outside P.E. and clubs).

All items must be named and we recommend each child should have a named PE bag for these items of clothing. PE kit should be in school every day as PE days can change, but they will need to come home from time to time for washing.
