Westover Primary School

Uniform Information

September 2021 Update

Children may continue to come in wearing black tracksuit bottoms or black shorts with black trainers so that we can continue to enjoy more time being active in PE instead of changing. They should wear normal schools tops and blue school jumpers.

Alternatively, full uniform can be worn, with black school shoes. In this case, PE trainers 9of any colour) should be kept in a bag in school every day, along with black shorts or tracksuit bottoms.

We expect children to dress smartly and wear their school uniform with pride in being part of the Westover family. Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your child's name so that we can reduce lost items.

Grey skirt or pinafore dress

Grey or black trousers (not leggings) or school shorts

Blue or white shirt/polo shirt

Blue V-necked  jumper or cardigan

Blue gingham dress

Flat black shoes with secure fastenings.

Long hair must be tied back.

No jewellery except for small, stud ear-rings.

A t-shirt in the colour of their team (to be advised by the school on entry) and dark blue or black shorts or jogging bottoms. A dark hoody or jumper may be worn for PE.

No football kits are allowed.

Ear-rings must be removed for PE or taped over (please make sure your child has tape in their PE bags)

Children will normally do gymnastics in bare feet, but need a pair of clearly named plimsolls or trainers for games.

All items must be named.
