10.10.25

October 10, 2025

Using all of our fantastic facts, the class have had a go at writing non-chronological reports all about the Stone Age.  Everybody has worked hard to catagorise their information into subheadings. We have been impressed with how much the children have learnt about the Stone Age and Bronze Age, we have some great historians in the making!

In Maths we have finished our unit on place value and will soon be starting to explore how graphs are used to manage data.  The class have put a lot of effort into rounding numbers to the nearest 10 or 100. We would appreciate if this can be continued at home. In school we have been using a rhyme to help us, ‘Zero to four, down to the floor, five to nine, climb the vine’.

A gentle reminder that children shouldn’t be bringing toys into school. We have a school set of fidget toys should they be required. The exception are the chewy sensory type.
