A brilliant week of learning this week!

All of our hard work has paid off as we completed our MTC (Multiplication Tables Check). The children have worked incredibly hard every day throughout the year for this, lately twice a day, and we are hugely looking forward to finding out their results in the forthcoming weeks.

In English, we have built up a foundation of knowledge ready to write our instructions, ‘How to Take Care of Guinea Pigs’, which we will publish and put up in the library to support the rest of Westover to look after them.

In Maths, we have consolidated our shape and symmetry unit where the children have learnt about angles, 2-D shapes and their properties and symmetry.

We found out this week that our new teachers in Year 5 would be Miss Snook and Miss Care, which we are really looking forward to!
