What a fabulous first week back, the children settle straight back into school and are ever so eager to tell their friends what they have done over the half term.
This week our story we looked at was ‘The Magic Paintbrush’. The children got to use their magic brushes to create anything they could think of. Some children drew animals; magical creatures and one child drew a rocket flying to the moon!
We looked at some 3D shapes in math’s and have gotten very good at remembering their names. We used the 3D shapes to build, mold playdoh into their shapes and matched everyday objects to the shape it looked like.
The children looked at occupations for people who help us, they then drew what they’d like to be when they are older. One child wrote an ice-cream lady, one wrote helicopter pilot, and another wrote a police officer.
