This week, Year 4 have enjoyed the heat and the sunshine.
In English, we have completed our set of instructions on how to take care of our school guinea pigs, Oreo and Biscoff. We have ensured that our writing includes, fronted adverbials, subordinate clauses, bullet points, imperative verbs and lots more organisational and language devices. Over the coming weeks, we will publish these to go up in the library for all of Westover to follow.
In maths, we have focused on position and direction. We have looked at coordinates as well as translation. Independently and resiliently, we have gained a secure understanding whilst challenging ourselves with extension tasks and using full sentences to explain our reasonings.
In the afternoons, we have taken a mature approach when exploring puberty in PSHE, investigated complete and incomplete circuits in science, showed teamwork in PE with Miss Snook and Year 5 and much more.
Next week, we will be completing our end of year assessments and receiving our results from the MTC.
Have a super sunny weekend!
