This week we have been reading the book ‘Brave’ we explored what it means to be brave. We shared stories around how we have been brave. This was particularly true when we heard the fire alarm for the first time on Friday. We have a fire drill periodically throughout the year.
We enjoyed getting messy this week by making slime, making jelly and printing with a range of objects in the classroom. This week we have introduced the children to story dough. Story dough is when you create a story with the playdough. This is a great opportunity to introduce new vocabulary to the children.
We have spent lots of time in the art area this week, we are teaching the children how use the resources independently. I hope you have enjoyed their art work that has come home. They have all demonstrated lots of resilience whilst using scissors.
