Pufferfish have been learning how to keep ourselves and animals safe this winter. The children loved making bird feeders for the playground and exploring ways to care for wildlife.
In art, we continued our Kandinsky inspired work, creating colourful pieces using circles and triangles. The creativity on display has been fantastic!
New phonics flashcards have been added to packs alongside tricky words. Please practise these regularly at home. Reminder: Little Wandle reading books should be returned every Friday.
Our story this week was Stick Man. If you find sticks on your walks this weekend, please bring them in for next week’s activities!
Thank you for sending in nativity costumes. Rehearsals are going well! If your child’s costume hasn’t been sent yet, please do so as soon as possible.
Next week, our Pufferfish Postbox will be by the classroom door for Christmas cards. If you’d like a list of first names, please ask me or Miss Kinsman. Cards will be handed out every few days.
We’re looking forward to the last couple of weeks filled with festive fun. Thank you for your support, it makes these moments special for the children.
Have a lovely weekend, and see you Monday!
Mrs Mackett
