1 more week to go!!!
This week, we’ve been writing all things Great Fire of London. This includes a range of sentence types, homophones and suffixes all related to the Great Fire. This will culminate in a diary entry next week in the role of a cat as it explores the fire.
In Maths, we have learnt about measuring length by estimating and measuring in metres and centimetres. We have also continued to practise our timestables which is really important as the children aim to get quicker and quicker and recall these facts instantly.
In PE this half term, we have enjoyed creating dance sequences using the Great Fire of London as a stimulus. This week, we used our knowledge of choreographing to create Christmas dances! We saw some great creativity and lovely teamwork.
Finally, we have worked really hard to sew the running stitch and create our pouches in DT. These will be decorated next week and brought home.
