What a fun and interesting trip to Tuppenny Barn we had! We loved learning about how different plants grow and identifying different crops. We used our senses to sample lots of different flavours. We played a straight face game with the sour lemon sorrel leaves and relaxed to the scent of lemon verbena. We made newspaper plant pots and planted our own mix of vegetable seeds. A highlight to all was making our own organic pizza rolls, using the selection of herbs that we harvested ourselves. We hope some of the baking made it home for you to try! A great way to end this half term learning all about plants.
