Firstly, welcome back to school and welcome to Penguins!

What a good week your children have had!

We’ve done a lot of setting routines and expectations as well as written about our summer holidays and practised our number to 50 in Maths.

Next week we have our Year 2 curriculum evening on Tuesday straight after school. It would be lovely to see you there as we will talk through the year and expectations as a whole. It will also be a great opportunity for you to see your child’s classroom and ask any questions.

No homework today as I’m sure your children need a bit of settling in and a good sleep (I know I do) but please do read with your children each night and record in their reading records. Library books came home today and LW groups will start back next week so those books will come home on Friday.
