This week, our text was Pablo’s Feelings. The children have been helping Pablo by suggesting ways he could express his feelings. It has been really insightful to see how they process their own feelings.

The favourite activity this week was the pasta maker. The children were able to turn the handle with one hand while using the other to gently guide the ‘pasta’ out. Starfish demonstrated a new level of sharing and turn-taking.

Slime was a close second. They were able to stretch the slime and found it highly amusing when it became stuck to their hands. You could hear their giggles at the other side of the classroom.

We have continued to develop our scissor-control skills, the children are beginning to demonstrate good control when using scissors.
