It’s been lovely to have all the children back this week, they have eagerly shared their adventures about their half term.

This week is the start of our new theme ‘In the forest’. We will explore lots of exciting new stories that will lead us up to Christmas. Our book this week was Owl babies. The children loved playing hide and seek like the owls, balancing along the beam and flying around. We had quite a long discussion around the owls being nocturnal and what this means. Hopefully they can remember.

This week we have started to compare size. We have been using vocabulary such as big, biggest, small and smallest. The children have made great progress in comparing the size of different objects and using the correct vocabulary.
