Our focus text this week has been ‘The treasure hunt.’  We have enjoyed creating our own treasure maps for others to follow.  We will continue to follow clues next week to work out what our new book could be about.

This week we have been exploring shapes. By the end of the week, we were able to identify shapes by their properties. We went on a shape hunt and were able to describe the shapes to the grown-ups. Mrs Leslie was extremely impressed; she put our names in the silver book.

Thank you to everyone that took part in the PTA Christmas shop. I hope all the children enjoyed their gifts that they purchased.

You may have seen that there is an upcoming Christmas fayre. The PTA sell these tickets in the main playground however,  as many of you don’t use the main playground, the PTA have given me raffle tickets to sell along with tickets to see Santa. Please feel free to purchase these from a member of Starfish in the mornings. Its is £1 for a strip of raffle tickets and £1 entrance fee to see Santa. Please bring the correct change as I won’t have any.
