We were in absolute awe of how excited Dolphins were to receive homework! It was excellent to see how promptly homework was handed in. Each week, the homework sent home will include our new digraphs and tricky words as well as a maths, reading or writing activity. In the folders, will be your child’s reading book. This can be kept at home until the following Friday.
Homework Hand In: by the following Wednesday
Reading Book Hand In: following Friday
Library Returns: Tuesdays
This week, we have consolidated our learning of time. The resilience and focus your children have shown has been superb!
In writing, we have developed our own alien characters which we will plan and write a story on based on our class text, ‘Beegu’.
In PE, we have had so much fun drawing in our computing, geography and maths learning. Following directions and compass points, we have played the game ‘captain’s coming’ as well as ‘splish, splash, splosh’ which has supported the class’s spatial awareness and listening of instructions.
In PSHE, we had a session using the NSPCC PANTS rule. This session allowed us to discuss how we keep our bodies safe. Please click on the following link if you’d like more information.

We have a lot of dolphins without PE kits at the moment. If PE kits are not in school, this means our school rule of ‘be ready’ is not being followed and children will have to sit out of PE. Our PE days are Tuesdays and Fridays.
Have a lovely weekend.
