Could Your Child Be Eligible for Pupil Premium Funding?
Extra Support • Extra Opportunities • Better Outcomes
The Pupil Premium Grant provides schools with additional funding to help children who may benefit from extra support. Many families don’t realise they qualify — even if they are working.
You may be eligible if you receive any of the following:
- Universal Credit (with household income below the threshold)
- Income Support
- Income‑based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- Income‑related Employment and Support Allowance
- Child Tax Credit (without Working Tax Credit)
- Support under the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- Pension Credit (Guarantee Credit)
Why it matters
If eligible, your child’s school receives extra funding that can be used for:
- Learning intervention groups
- Free School Meals everyday (which could save nearly £14 per week!)
- Uniform help
- Financial Support towards trips and enrichment activities
- Mental health and wellbeing support
- And much more
This funding directly benefits your child — but only if you apply.
It’s quick and confidential
Checking eligibility takes only a few minutes, and your information is kept completely confidential.
