It has been a busy few weeks. The children have really enjoyed exploring the minibeast books we have read so far. These stories have inspired the children to create wings and a minibeast walk.
We continue to develop our mathematical skills. We have been comparing groups of objects by saying which group has more or less objects.
Starfish have loved using the Bee Bots. The children have begun to use directional language independently. So much so we have started playing games such as I spy with positional language. For example, I spy something under the round table. These skills complement each other.
We have taken advantage of the weather over the last few weeks. Starfish have been helping to sweep the puddles away. This is a fun way to strengthen their gross motor skills.
Our next exit point is Tuesday 3rd February at 2.30.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
See you next week
