Happy New Year! Welcome back to school.

We’ve made a strong start to the new year. This has included writing about our favourite day in the Christmas holidays, it sounds like a lot of fun was had!

In English, we have started our new book ‘Rosie Revere’ and will be writing reports and instructions over the next few weeks.

In Maths, we’ve been learning about graphs and statistics by gathering data and plotting this into pictograms, block diagrams and tally charts.

In History, we have started to look at ‘The Wright Brothers’ for our new unit ‘Transport’ and will be learning about how they invented a flying machine. Then using this knowledge to help plan and build a flying machine as part of DT, then writing the instructions in English. All very exciting.

Thank you very much for the recycling, I think we have enough now!!

We also thoroughly enjoyed an impromptu run around in the snow the other day.
