It’s been another fantastic week! Loud at times, but still fantastic!

In English, we started our new book ‘The Minpins’ and have created our own monsters using expanded noun phrases to describe them.

In Maths, we have finished a very tricky unit on time. Your children have worked extremely hard to tell the time and most are able to time to time to 5 minute intervals!!! Year 3 would be jealous!!

We’ve completed our History unit all about the Wright Brothers and the impact their invention of the first engine powered plane had on our modern day world.

Please keep encouraging your children to practise Timestable Rockstars at home, it really does make a huge difference and will help them immensely as they progress into Year 3 and learn the next set of timestables. I will be creating a battle over the next half term holiday to generate a bit of friendly competition.

In PE, we are loving our dodgeball unit. If you don’t already, please could you start to provide trainers so we can prepare to go outside for PE soon.

Finally, we are super excited to have you join us in a couple of weeks for our exit point. For our exit point, we would like to create some inventions and showcase our team work and construction skills. Please could you start bringing in recycling again from next week so we have a selection of ‘treasure’ to build with.
