Lots of great work in Penguin class this week including some beautiful publishing and some fantastic chairs in DT.
We have been blown away by the improvement in handwriting these past few weeks, with children taking much more pride in their work. We wrote a wanted poster for our monster including a range of sentence types and expanded noun phrases. Some of these are on display.
In Maths, we have begun learning about fractions and identifying halves, quarters and thirds. Your children will be able to count in fractions and will know that two halves equal one whole.
In DT, we used our teamwork to create a chair out of paper and masking tape. The chairs had to be stiff, strong and stable enough to hold baby bear. A few of them were even strong enough to hold mummy and daddy bear!!
Here are some of the photos.

See you next Wednesday for our exit point.
