We’ve had a another busy week in Penguins!

We’ve learnt about different types of sentences in English and used these to write short paragraphs about Traction Man.

In Maths, we have been learning how to add and subtract two 2-digit numbers using various methods. It’s been great to explore different methods and realise that each one gets the same answer!

In Science, we designed and made our bug hotels. A huge thank you to you all for attending our exit point the other day. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for your help. We have now written instructions for Mrs Slevin to make her own bug hotel using bossy commands!

We have composed, rehearsed and performed sound patterns in Music. Then we used percussion instruments to perform. We have also learnt some songs about toys to link beautifully to our Traction Man story.
