This half term, Year 3 have been exploring the book Cloud Tea Monkeys. Inspired by the narrative, the class have made their own tea ‘fit for a king’ using the mint growing in our vegetable patch. A few children weren’t very keen on the toothpaste flavour but on the whole, the class loved their exotic mint tea tasting!
We have been very proud of the resilience across the class to improve handwriting. We are all extremely determined to make our writing the neatest it can be. We are working on this daily for the remainder of term.
Our history topic of the Tudors, has got off to a grizzly start with the class appalled that Henry VIII liked to eat swan neck as a special meal! We will be learning about Tudor links to Portsmouth over the coming weeks.
