Another busy week for us in Turtles Class! The children have been working hard to recap their knowledge of factors and multiples, working hard on their times table knowledge to support them with this. We are now having a times table focus weekly, this week’s focus was the 6s! Please feel free to test your children at home as every little bit of practise counts! We finished our instructional writing and looked closely at what editing looks like, having some 1:1 editing master classes set up for the children to embed new skills learnt! In Geography, we enjoyed looking at the beauty of Antarctica and how we as humans are impacting the continent (some brilliant examples as seen below!). Finally, today, we had an afternoon on the laptops and iPads. First, creating our own inspirational tagline as part of our Art unit using Sketchpad and then looking at data packets and communication in Computing, working collaboratively to create a fact file.
