It’s been another wonderful week at Westover. This week we looked at the book ‘Commotion in the ocean’. The children loved the acting out the movement of the sea creatures. They found the deep-sea fish really interesting. This led them to drawing them with oil pastels. Lots of us went to the silver book for our wonderful pictures.

In math we have been using the vocabulary empty, half full and full. We were able to use the correct vocabulary to ask our friends for a full cup of cabbage soup, or an empty cut.

We have been developing our understanding of how to represent numbers. We were able to build our flowers independently to do this.

In PE we have been developing control when using a ball. We were able to bounce and catch a ball with lots of success!
