I don’t think Dolphins have made me any prouder than they did this week with their Phonics Screening Check! You should be so incredibly proud of your children. Results will be shared with you on their reports which will come out at the end of the year!

In English this week, we have been writing descriptive sentences, using adjectives, about the buildings we have designed. We have even been joining them together using ‘and’! The focus and concentration we have seen has been fantastic! Not only have they thought about these two skills but they have really focused on handwriting and presentation too! I couldn’t help myself but to share their work with teachers in other year groups!

In Maths, we have set up a classroom shop where we have been exchanging money for items, finding the total cost of two items and calculating change.

In PE, we have been running FAST, thinking about: face forward, arms hip to lip, speedy feet and trunks upright. We are definitely ready for Sports Day!
