Dolphins have had a very different week this week with an array of different adults and sessions.

On Monday, we returned from the heatwave, ready to work hard and get back on track. A particular highlight of Monday was computing where we designed ‘space races’ on the programming software ScratchJr. The children worked together brilliantly!

On Tuesday, they had their transition day with Miss Harman where they became Year 2s (Penguins). I was so incredibly proud to hear how amazing they were. Miss Harman is very lucky to have your children come September!

On Wednesday, they had Mr Upfield where they looked at the differences between teasing and bullying in PSHE and what they should do if they witness bullying or feel like it is being done to them.

On Thursday, we returned to normality with phonics, English, guided reading, maths, handwriting, spelling and DT.

We are on the final 13 ‘school days’ countdown now! Have a lovely INSET day and weekend. See you all on Monday.
