This week was assessment week and Year 4 really did themselves proud! They completed a maths, reading and SPaG paper in which progress was made across the board by all! It’s always great to see them apply new learning!
We used our SPaG papers to help us respond to feedback from our persuasive letters to the Prime Minister (which were also fantastic)! We understand that SPaG is a vital part of our writing, and we should be applying it to all pieces consistently. We have been incredibly resilient when learning the short multiplication method for solving calculations with and without regrouping! We have also enjoyed investigating the digestive system and the journey of food through our bodies. Our knowledge of South America is ever growing in our English, geography, and music lessons where we composed our own samba using a range of instruments!
