Seals had another great week this week. We have been learning about conjunctions in English. We have also had a go at writing a formal letter to the character in our new book, the King Who Banned the Dark. In Maths, we have worked so hard on subtracting three digit numbers from three digit number, regrouping into the hundreds. The children have been amazing at using concrete resources to model the regrouping process. We have also tried so hard at ‘regrouping to regroup’, where we find a zero in the tens column.  This week’s homework is based upon subtraction so your child should be able to talk you through the process! In French we finished our unit of greetings. In PE, we continued to learn fitness moves with Mrs Unitt, developing core strength. We have also continued to practise our football skills, focusing on marking and ball control.  In Computing, we filmed our stop motion animations ready to view next week. We are finishing off our DT pneumatic mechanisms and have been so impressed with the problem solving conversations. Well done Yr 3.
