This week we began our new story, Naughty Bus. He is extremely cheeky and finds himself in all sorts of trouble. He arrived by making a road in the classroom. Today we arrived at school to find he had covered our bathroom sinks in toothpaste! We hope he doesn’t stay with us for too long.

We had another fun filled Pe lesson on Thursday. We are working really hard with climbing up the wall bars and balancing along the narrow bench. All these activities are focused on developing our core strength.

This week in maths we have been focussing on subtraction.  This can be tricky, however using the part-part whole we were able to do so.

As part of our understanding of the world strand we have been looking at our toddler photos and identifying what has changed, this was a lovely opportunity for lots of talk. Thank you for sending these pictures in. We have also been looking at maps and where we live. We walked around our outside area and then created a ‘birds eye view’ map.
