This week, we’ve had a great week! So much to celebrate and lots to share at our first parent’s evening. Thank you to all those who attended, I think you’ll agree that your children are working incredibly hard.

In English this week we have finished writing our Infant Voices recounts and also written a non-chronological report about our fictitious monsters that live in the Forest of Sin.

We have finished our fractions unit in Maths. I have been so impressed with their knowledge of 1/2, 1/4 and 1/3 and then using this to find fractions of amounts.

We now have pet caterpillars in our classroom to observe over time and watch them grow and change as part of our life cycle topic in Science.

In History, we have learnt about the Wright brothers and how they invented the aeroplane. We then used Flight Tracker to track different flights around the world and look at how aircrafts have involved over the past 120 years.

We are busy practising our songs for the Easter Parade and look forward to showing some of our Infant Voices songs.
