A great second week had by all!

Sea Otters have explored verb forms and direct speech in English this week in preparation for our upcoming news reports. We have focused on spelling rules as well as punctuation, including inverted commas. Alongside our class text, we have been reading a variety of non-fiction texts about The Romans and Pompeii to really immerse ourselves in Roman life! In Maths, we have begun our fractions unit, looking closely at what a fraction is and equivalent fractions.

Our afternoons have also been filled with lots of great learning! We have particularly enjoyed learning about ‘Pop Art’ and one of the famous artists who made a name for it: Roy Lichtenstein.

This week, Sea Otters have scored an 8/10 for their kindness! A great improvement from last week. Let’s get that 10/10!!
