What a week we’ve had! We have had different activities based around valentines this week such as making cards for those we love, designing hearts and exploring slime that had glitter and sequins in describing how it felt. The children have been working in small groups throughout the week undertaking lots of talk and activities. Some children explored rain coming through the clouds using shaving foam and food colouring, some children spoke about parts of the plants and what they need in order to grow and others talked about shapes and identifying corners of those shapes. After reading our book of the week ‘All through the night’ the children spoke about what they might want to be when they are older and why they want to do that.

This morning the children made mini valentines pizzas which they were super proud to show off to their grown ups and also looked delicious!

What a busy half term we have had! Have a lovely break and we will see you all on the 25th February.
