We have been working really hard this week to secure our understanding of number bonds to 10! We will continue to do this over the next few weeks to ensure we are all confident.
Our new story is ‘Mouse find a seed’. The children loved to explore the language such as; earth, besides, patience and advised. In this story a mouse finds a seed and learns what patience means as he’s waiting for the seed to grow.
Today we had a food tasting experience. Caterlink, who are the company that provide our lunches, worked with the children to explore the taste buds on our tongue. We tried jam and jelly- sweet. Dark chocolate- bitter. Lemon- sour. Crispy- salty. The children were really good at describing what they could smell before they tasted the food type.
This afternoon we went in search for sign of new life. We didn’t find any chicks or lambs, but we did find lots of new flowers and buds on the trees and bushes. We will keep a look out for any other sings over the next few weeks.
Have a wonderful weekend. See you next week.
