It was lovely to get to talk with some of you at parents evening this week and share some of your child’s successes. We really are so proud of how Year 3 demonstrate our school values on a daily basis. We look forward to parents evening part 2 next week!

This week we have focused upon our unaided narratives based on ‘Mr Linden’s Library’. The children are really getting quite skilled at developing suspense and we have felt a few shivers reading some of their work!

We have now started learning about time in Maths so asking your child to tell you the time at home would help them tremendously.

A reminder about our trip on Thursday to Testwood Lakes… please wear old clothes, layers, a warm coat, preferably wellies but if not old trainers, bring a packed lunch, a snack and a drink. We can’t wait!
