The penultimate week!
This week, Sea Otters have produced some fantastic English work in the build up to their non-chronological reports. So far, they have researched their chosen fruit/veg and mythical creature, explored the conventions of a non-chronological report and written an introduction all whilst looking at synonyms and pronouns and subordinating clauses. The children have begun planning for this piece of unaided writing.
In Maths, we have continued our learning of area and perimeter. This has been a challenging unit so far but we have been demonstrating superb resilience!
In PSHE, we looked at the importance of being an active bystander and looking out for each other. We conceptualised this through an activity. We recognised that we are stronger in numbers and that it is importance to demonstrate positive behaviours rather than ones considered ‘anti-social’.
On Tuesday, we thoroughly enjoyed the Rocksteady Concert which so many of our class are a part of! We are super proud of all of the Sea Otters that were a part of it. The hard work and effort never goes unrecognised.
Have a lovely weekend!
