This week, Year 4 have written some extremely professional news reports based on Beowulf’s defeat of monster, Grendel. The children have clearly considered their language choices, tenses and structure. It is great to see the children’s writing progress in every independent write we do.
In maths, we have consolidated our learning of converting units of measure. We are beginning to explore different problem solving activities involving measure and money where we will have to demonstrate our school value of resilience.
We have really enjoyed spending time outside in the sunny weather during art and PE!
With our residential less than a week away, we have been preparing ourselves by watching POVs (points of view) videos of the rollercoasters at Paulton’s Park to help ease any nerves and concerns. We are super excited!
