What a wonderful week we have had down in Dolphins Class. The children have been working hard in lessons and are enjoying our new book in English – ‘Pig the Pug’. Children have also been learning about money this week, including what coins and notes there are and how to add and subtract using money. In PE, the children have learned about how to control a ball when rolling it and have practiced aiming at different size targets.

Next Tuesday we have our Beach School morning! It’s looking like a warm day so please ensure your child has a bottle and sun hat for the beach. Please also refer to the letter sent home for further details.

A number of children in Dolphins are engaging in and enjoying supervised water play activities and are coming back to class after lunch very wet. If your child would like to join in with the water play, could they please have a full change of clothes and shoes in their school bag to change into after lunch should they get wet.

Another quick reminder to ensure your child has a water bottle and sun hat in school as we enter the warmer months. Please also feel free to apply sun cream prior to coming to school or sending sun cream in for your child to apply to themselves.
