This week we started our new text ‘Sharing a shell’. The story promotes lots of conversations around kindness. Throughout the week, Pufferfish have been able to earn themselves a kindness sticker. We used the phrase, ‘I just caught you being kind’. By the end of the week, we were able to give each other stickers.

During pe this week we have been focusing on athletics and tennis. Athletics will help us prepare for sports day.

In maths we are looking at numbers up to 30. This week we were able to order the numicon from 20-30 independently.

Whilst exploring ‘Understanding of the world’, Pufferfish looked at toys from the past. They were able to sort the toys into old and new piles. They noticed that lots of older toys were made from wood, whereas lots of our toys that we have now are made from plastic.
