WOW what a week!!

Your child did an amazing job at the Infant Voices music festival on Wednesday. Especially as we walked an hour to get there and back again. Please see the class videos for the report and photos. The Music Hub were really impressed with our solo songs and we were super impressed and proud of their behaviour. They represented Westover brilliantly.

Thursday was World Book Day…again WOW! The outfits were incredible and really created a buzz around reading. We enjoyed watching a film about a book, read a story, went on a book detective hunt in the library and then got to share stories with our Year 4 friends.

In English, we have written our own version of part of the Minpin story, some of these are published and on display.

In Maths, we are smashing fractions!! Everybody has a really good awareness of halves, quarters and thirds and we are starting to use this knowledge to find fractions of quantities.
