Week 3 in Penguins

May 1, 2026

Another fantastic, busy week!

English has involved a lot of handwriting!!! Followed by generating expanded noun phrases to write a setting description. These have been published today and some have been entered into AI to see how accurate they are.

In Maths, we have finished our unit on money. Hopefully we are now all experts of recognising coins and making amounts in different ways. We also learnt how to give change in coins and notes.

In History, we welcomed Brian back from the RNLI to teach us about sea safety. We learnt how to stay safe at the beach, where we can swim safely and how to get help if needed. Look out for our sea safety posters next week and check out our photos below from the workshop.

We have finished our PE unit on tennis and will be starting multi-skills next week, your children will then use this to devise exercises to keep them healthy as part of our Science unit.
