Another great week.

We’ve been busy reminding ourselves of sentence structure and ensuring our sentences have everything they need. We have then been using these simple sentences to join together using the ‘and’ conjunction. Next week, we will be looking at the conjunction ‘because’ and using these skills to write a letter to Duncan from the crayons.

In Maths, we are getting really confident at recognising 2-digit numbers and identifying the tens and ones. We can use this to find numbers on a numberline and make sensible estimates.

In Science, we’ve been busy hunting for minibeasts and describing their microhabitats. Keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks because we will be building bug hotels and looking for things to bring in from home to do so. More details to follow.

We spent Thursday afternoon creating our Christmas card design (as in previous years). These will be coming home soon for you to order from. They look fab!
