Happy Monday!

Last week was a fab week in Penguins!

We have been completing Spring term assessments and WOW your children worked really hard.

The assessments really help work out strengths and weaknesses and elements that might need reteaching and further practice. Your children behaved brilliantly and did their best.

In English, we started our new books ‘Tadpole’s Promise’ and looked at things that change around us. This links beautifully with our current Science unit where our caterpillars are actively changing before our eyes.

In Maths, we started a very tricky topic: addition and subtraction involving regrouping. Please do have a look at the homework, as this will show the first steps necessary to regroup: make 10 and then jump on.
