Another great week in Penguins. We are really starting to embed those classroom routines now and they are becoming the norm.

In English, we have been learning about the ‘and’ and ‘because’ conjunctions and how they can be used to extend sentences and join simple sentences together. We have written letters today in role as a crayon and some of these are on display on our WOW work board.

In Maths, we have been looking at sequencing and patterns. We now know about increasing and decreasing sequences and are able to skip count in 2, 3 and 5 to notice patterns. We are able to compare and order 2-digit numbers too and position these on a numberline.

In Art, we have looked at different lines and how to create different textures. We will be using these skills to create an observational drawing over the coming weeks.
