We made it!! The world’s shortest but busiest half term ever!
Your children have worked really hard this week to finish off all our current units.
In English, we have written diaries in role to tell the thoughts and feelings felt by the characters in the story. These have been editing and published with some on display.
In Maths, we have finally finished our addition and subtraction unit where the children are now able to add and subtract two 2-digit numbers involving regrouping. Please do encourage your child to keep practising this.
In Art, we have looked at Claude Monet and his technique of impressionism. We’ve experimented with the short, quick dashes and using different tools. We have then used this technique to create our own Water Lily painting in the style of Claude Monet.
Over the holiday, we have another TTRS battle with Seals. We won the last one, let’s work together to keep the title 🙂
We hope you have a very lovely Easter holiday and your children get a well deserved break.
