We have had another wonderful week in Starfish Class. This week, we have been reading the text ‘Rooster Wore Skinny Jeans’. This book is all about being confident in your own choices, regardless of what others may think. Starfish have wrapped their parcel, ready to send it off to Rooster. I hope he likes them.

Our nursery rhyme was Humpty Dumpty. The children have enjoyed building a wall for Humpty Dumpty and putting his broken shell back together again.

Starfish have taken the potion station area to a new level this week. We have added bugs and lizards. They have created lots of different magic spells incorporating plenty of made-up and rhyming words.

In maths, we have been exploring the numbers 1 and 2 and the different ways we can make them. Starfish were really confident in demonstrating their number knowledge.

Just a reminder that the school photographer will be in next Thursday to take individual and sibling photos.
