This week we have thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine and time outside with friends at playtimes, lunchtimes and on the trim trail.
In English, we have started our final independent write for the Tadpole’s Promise book: a diary in role as either the caterpillar or tadpole. We will be included simple and past progressive tense, expanded noun phrases, suffix words and various conjunctions.
In Maths, we have continued with addition and subtraction involving regrouping. This is really tricky and the children have demonstrated great resilience.
In Art, we are using our knowledge of Claude Monet’s Impressionism to paint an interpretation of his Lily Pond picture. These will be completed next week and the children will be bringing them home to share with you.
We have been practising our Easter songs ready to perform to you in our Easter parade next Wednesday at 2:30. See you there.
