It’s the holiday! We made it! What a busy half term!
This week, we’ve completed our innovated stories using the Bear and the Piano as a structure. We’ve had snakes and drums, flamingos and guitars, puppies and violins. We’ve been very impressed with the creativity we’ve seen.
In Maths, we have finished off our learning on 2D and 3D shapes which also involves position and direction. Your children should now know their lefts and rights and be able to describe movement using clockwise, anti-clockwise, quarter, half and three quarter turns.
In History, we welcomed Brian back who led a lovely, engaging workshop on sea safety and the work that the RNLI do now as a result of Grace Darling’s brave sea rescue. We learnt lots of facts to keep us safe and how to call for help if we are in danger.
We hope you have a very lovely week off.
