What a hot week!!

Just a reminder to please ensure your child has a water bottle in school and sun cream on before they arrive. Rest assured, we are giving them lots of drink breaks through the day.

After our fantastic trip to Marwell last week, we have been writing riddles about the animals to create a class book. We have begun to plan a fictional story about one of the animals, taking careful consideration to plan the structure using a build up, problem and resolution story mountain.

In Maths, we have been consolidation our knowledge of place value and using this knowledge to read, write and represent numbers to 1000.

Our afternoons have largely been around Art as we’ve planned and made our clay tiles using the techniques of relief and impress to add the detailed features.

On Tuesday, we were very lucky to watch a BMX display in the playground followed by the end of year Rocksteady concert. A huge well done to our Penguin friends for performing with such confidence.

We are excited about Sports Day (morning) next Tuesday and can’t wait to have lots of fun and hopefully win!!
