What a busy week it has been! On Tuesday, we had a PSHE workshop hosted by SCARF’s Michelle who ran an interactive session all around our mental health and how we can recognise our different emotions but also strategies to help us self-regulate when necessary.

On Thursday, it was World Book Day. We started the day with a whole school assembly where we could see everyone’s costumes but also find out about the theme of this year’s celebrations. Then, we took part in a ‘Footy and Booky’ Quiz hosted by Kit Brown (teacher, author and footballer) and saw some familiar faces including Portsmouth FC’s Terry Devlin and Hannah Haughton. In the afternoon, we completed a group activity where we had to sort a mixture using different apparatus so that they were all separated at the end. Some great problem solving and teamwork skills were on display for this!

Next week, on Wednesday, is our trip to the dockyard which we are really excited about! The children are to wear normal uniform and comfortable shoes please.
